Gigantic x Black Raven Conspiracy Fresh Hop IPA is exactly the kind of project that gets our attention. The breweries teamed up for a two-day collaboration, harvesting hops from a different farm each day and bringing them straight into the kettle. There’s a lot of coordination behind a beer like that - and a good reason for us to bring the same enthusiasm to representing it. Gigantic’s lineup also includes Fresh Hop Centennial IPA, featuring hops from Crosby Farms, and Sodbusted Simcoezilla Fresh Hop IPA, made with fresh Simcoe from Lakeside Ranches in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Hetty Alice Freshed Coast West Coast IPA showcases fresh Strata from Goschie Farms, with strawberry and watermelon aromas leading into tangerine, blueberry, pine, and a grapefruit finish. Each gives buyers a different way to tell the story of the harvest.
Pale Ales That Deserve a Place Alongside the IPAs
Little Beast Greenkeeper Fresh Hop Pale brings fresh Centennial hops together with Pale and Munich malts. Living Haus Irma Fresh Hop Pale, a collaboration with Stigbergets, also highlights Centennial, sourced from Goschie Farms. Living Haus takes a more tropical direction with Jim Fresh Hop Hazy IPA, featuring Luminosa. Norte Fresh Hop Gatito Pale adds another option, pairing fresh Strata with Krush Cryo for passion fruit, strawberry, grapefruit, mango, and guava notes. Gigantic Freshtoberfest Lager combines Oktoberfest malt character with fresh Tettnang hops from Goschie Farms. Zoiglhaus Oktoberfresh pairs German malts and yeast with a seasonal fresh hop addition, starting malty and finishing crisp. Norte Fresh Hop Mexi Lager features freshly picked Lorien hops, adding lemon and lime notes alongside barley malt and flaked corn.
