An independently-owned brewery with a passion for innovation, an appreciation for uniqueness, and an obsession with quality. Founded in 2017, we craft small-batch beers from a 15-barrel system in Clackamas, Oregon. Our southeast Portland taproom welcomes guests to enjoy our beer in the distinctive setting of an old Craftsman home, with a heated back porch, indoor and outdoor seating, and a relaxing front porch. Little Beast is the culmination of their mutual love of good beer, fine food, and inspired craftsmanship. Charles brings a rich history of brewing to the craft. With a degree in biology and a deep curiosity for fermentation, he started his career in the early nineties on the brew deck at Bloomington Brewing Company, and later led the brewing team at Upland Brewing Co. in southern Indiana. His love for craft beer brought him to Bend, Oregon, where he brewed at Deschutes Brewery and later, at Full Sail Brewing Co. He went on to found Logsdon Farmhouse Ales and was the architect of many of their celebrated beers.
